I have added the URL below the following testimonials for the websites I’ve both created and managed the design or redesign. But websites are constantly changing. I can only take responsibility for having been a part of the site’s original creation or redesign, as the current layout and design of most of these sites have undergone minor to major changes. It would be difficult to now point out which parts of these sites still have elements of my work. But the concept, navigation and much of my original writing remains for the most part.

Davida’s ability to step into any situation [as Assistant Manager of the UCLA Central Ticket Office] was called upon hourly, whether it was to assess and initiate an appropriate solution to a problem, a new support group president who needed special attention, a budgetary crisis which demanded a creative solution, a program which was booked and not selling tickets, or a disagreement between student workers. Her intellect, integrity and insight provided a strong base with which she honed her administrative acumen. […] Her advice to our Director, Michael Blachly, on Jazz bookings was based on solid knowledge of trends and was generally followed. Davida James worked with our company on a freelance basis and revolutionized every aspect of the look of our written products and website. For a time, every piece of promotional material we used had been created by Davida. Not only did she manage a reorganization and improved design of our website, but she wrote or re-wrote much of the copy. Davida provided us with invaluable advice in public relations. Her writing ran the gamut of business communications - simple letters, sponsor proposals, a tri-fold brochure, and an effective and impressive press kit that became the centerpiece of our printed material. Davida was always able to bring just the right expression to our communications, adding just the necessary touch of creativity, sensitivity and business acumen.
